No, not really…just a LOT going on! Who knew? Super busy work/travel schedules, 2 toddlers, my husband’s just as crazy travel schedule and, well…life’s ups and downs; wouldn’t have guessed that I’d have no “time”. I always think to myself, I need to continue writing, or work on my podcast- but in reality, I end up on the couch, wine in hand, watching Bravo once the kids go down. No motivation to write, record, workout, or just work on me. Postpartum changes really kicked my ass and I’ve struggled with the bounce back and hormonal changes. This shit is exhausting and I’ve not been “me” in. while.
I finally took a step in making some changes. I went back to my happy place, the gym. I haven’t been a member of a gym since well before the pandemic (#pregnancies, 2under2 +traveling for work+pandemic). I started seeing a physical therapist who specializes in Diastasis Recti (a whole blog on its own) and pelvic floor recovery. It’s not fun being asked if you’re pregnant; it happened a few times and it SUCKS ass!
The bottom line is- i’m making a slow but determined comeback. For me! So i’m happy to be back on here and will be sharing more of life, craziness and all.
