Russell Mom On The Road

Isn’t life a trip? One minute you’re in your teens and twenties living it up. Next thing you know, you’ve found a great person, just crazy enough to handle your crazy, then, wham! you get engaged, married, have kids, the works, and then you’re like holy shit! What did we just do? Oh, but wait…all while those awesome things were occurring, you and your spouse were both trying to climb the corporate ladder.

That’s barely a 30 second snapshot into my life. More to come as we get to know each other. there’s so much more adventure, experiences, and lessons omitted, however, one thing has remained the same- I’m a super researcher and planner. Almost to a fault. Though I have to say, my husband, family and friends reap the benefits, which means I guess I’m doing something right, am I right?

This will be the longest blog post of mine you’ll read on my page. I’m a consumer of all things “get to the point” and this will be the same. I’m a busy mom. I need answers, and I need answers now without reading an in-depth research paper.

So what’s this blog all about anyway? A blog for working moms (and families) literally on the go! We’ve got our schedules, our deadlines, bath time/bedtime kid routines, our travel calendars, our social calendars, and we’re just trying to fit sleep or even a bravo/Netflix binge in there somewhere. This is a space for me to give all sorts of tips that has worked for me and my family. And Mainly because my friends call me Moogle…literally!

By no means am I an expert. But I’m all about doing what’s best to keep our family life less complicated and smooth sailing. That means apps, lists, more lists, apps, and everything real in between…because hell, no one’s perfect.
